*The UnitedHealthcare Hearing provider network is URAC accredited and consists of a variety of licensed hearing care professionals. We make outreach to providers, as needed, in order to recruit them to our network. We also accept requests from employers, members, and providers to accommodate needs and preferences. All providers are credentialed and assessed on their care, industry knowledge and attention to detail, so no matter where you go, you can rest assured that you’re in good hands. To help provide members with reasonable access to providers who can meet their needs, we look at the number of providers and they types of services offered within a geographical area. Additionally, we conduct assessments of how well the network meets members’ cultural needs and preferences, as well as any special healthcare needs.
